The 18th fairway at Palmetto lifts the community with live music and fireworks

SSODSTYLES was at Palmetto Golf Course; for the 4th of July extravaganza in Pinecrest. Golf food, fireworks and celebration of Americans freedom all came together at Palmetto practice range. With the morning starting at Killian Greens for some green-side practice, then followed by some evening Sony A7r shots; I was def rolling “with me.” The community came together on this day of independence, at the newly repaired 18 hole course, that I regularly hit range balls at. A stage was built on the 18th fairway and the people gathered just off the 18th green-side; par saving wedge locations. Whiskey All-Stars was the name of the band who kicked started the festivities, driving people joyously onto the fields of “Fourth On The Fairway.” The communities citizens lined up for food and drinks just off the fairway. Birdie chances were on the menu, but Meat & Bone called them “chicken tenders.” Also tropical chills and ice cold refreshments refueled the people in attendance; when they weren’t singing and dancing on the 18th fairway. Just around 7:30 is when I passed by the putting green and asked the night’s presenter; about her thoughts of what a good 4th of July consists of. Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins said, “ Food, Fireworks, and Family is what a good 4th of July consists of.” The nights festivities continued on the field grounds until 8:45pm; that’s when the fireworks should all the citizens “How It Works.” The “Commissioner” before the skies ignited in expanded pyrotechnics led the people in a star spangled banner and pledge allegiance.
