SSOD minutes after a rescheduled appointment, rushed to Killian Greens to Break 80, arriving minutes before my tee time. Then followed by a quick check-in, faster golf-cart dash cam fix, and sneaker spotlight lace-up by the starter.
Eventually the first shot was hit at exactly 12:45 p.m. and SSOD fired a 76 score, executing a +4 over par score on another episode of Breaking 80.
This was the 5th time SSOD had accomplished the feat. SSOD was -1 heading into the back nine, after finishing the last three holes on the front -1.
On holes 14 and 16 SSOD endured discouragement when both drives landed out-of-play, but those were the only setbacks presented at Killian Greens. And on Hole 15, SSOD measured one of his birdie hunting style shots from the rough; followed by draining an 18’ stroke on Hole 17.
Killian Greens tested everything SSOD had early, but in the end the T200 Titleist irons were aligned for the direct fairways and greens.
