With Ultra Music Festival set to begin preparing for their milestone year, in similar fashion Fifty Shades of Ultra by Posh & Purpose, a second-year fashion exhibition took over Electric Lady in Wynwood. Posh & Purpose, an event production company, founded in 2024. Hosted this diverse collaborative exhibition. Just after 8 p.m. is when the audience began taking their seat, a female dancer named Sanja Ganja strutted a chair alongside a male model while DJ Alexander engaged the crowd with music. After completing her routine, Sanja Ganja said, “This night is about giving back and raising fashion for a purpose, posh is for the amazing night, while the purpose is aligning with community organizations and giving back.” After a glamorous introduction, the first designer “Baro Sanchez” revealed their collection of long and waist high dresses, followed by a lingerie line designed by “Incognito.” And around 9 p.m. after a 15-minute intermission two more lingerie designers unveiled their lines. But it was not until I spoke with Laury, the event organizer, about some of the reasons for Fifty Shades of Ultra that I really understood the reason for the event. She said, “Fifty Shades of Ultra is the exclusive kickoff event for the Ultra Music Festival, the show brings together fashion, philanthropy, and community engagement, all in-support of non-profit charity “Not Just October” and their fight against breast cancer. At the “Fifty Shades of Ultra” Fashion Show, event promoters Posh & Purpose were at work. It was the second year of more to come before Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival conclude March.
