EXT. GREYNOLDS PARK – DAY
I Arrived 40 minutes before tee time, public parking signs and golf course parking signs directing decisions. Golf Course parking sign was asking for a golf decal.
Cristopher
No Clue where I would get a decal, Luckily
I arrived early, Parking Lot was empty, and
a cornerstone was available.
I grabbed my golf bag from the trunk, “Powerade” from cup holder, and approached the clubhouse.
Upon arrival, the golf attendants weren’t at their systems desk.
Cristopher
I guess they thought it was more important to
review previous accounts, instead of attending
to customer tee times. Let’s see if directly my Aetna
calls could speed up the process. Slightly.
Finally I checked in, began my stretches and curled my resistance cord bands.
Cristopher
They have two handles, for dual functionality.

This particular course displayed a driving net to warm up. So I grabbed my 6iron first, hit 20 shots, followed by my 9iron, another 20 shots, and 56 degree loft wedge, I hit only 10 shots. After putting on the practice green, my body was warm.
9:49 Tee Time
When Harry met Cris, or when Cris met Harry. Harry from New York was my partner, who seemed to be more into UCONN basketball than golf. Nevertheless, their were seven clubs in his bag, three of the clubs were woods, a wedge, two irons, and a putter. I loaded my bag and introduced.
Cristopher
My name is Cristopher, I am just going
to strap up back here.
Three groups suited and 12 drives later, my foursome squared up for Hole 1. Everyone clutching for “Driver.,” and everyone drove right, but harry being the crafty player he was, hit a grounder in the middle of the fairway. A clear indication that I would be playing four balls to one, allowing me enough time to analyze each shot before spinning them onto the green.
My drive carried just outside the fairway sand trap, ball masked 244 yards to the green. Outcome of first drive, 210 yards, I grabbed the 4iron, but I still missed that slow draw from right to left. So the ball masked right of the green. Surprisingly, staring down 80 yards to the hole, I clutched my 54 degree wedge and it sticked 8 feet from the hole.
Cristopher
Where’s Harry and the other guys
Outcome of HOLE 1 was a par. HOLE 2 totaling 346 yards, I clutched the driver again, this time I drove it over 240 yards. Harry snuck in for a drive also.
After separating from each other on the first hole, we were paired again with Dave and Ian, at the second hole fairway.
Cristopher
I thought we would have a new pairing after
the first hole. Also I really exploded on that drive,
I think might’ve hit it full square.
My pitching wedge, silver streaked a slick gradient, a to the cup hint gradient. So I clutched the club without hesitation and dropped it on the green, I was dancing again.
HOLE 3; a par 3. ball masked just off the green, I clutched for the 60 degree wedge, saved lives and I saved with a par.
HOLE 4, 3 wood made a Cameo, a sense of quality rushed inside my veins. Second shot was a 7iron, masked off the green, that I followed up with a 60 degree wedge.
HARRY
I guess they couldn’t wait.
Somebody tried to scare Harry with a pink ball.
Hole 5, I went dancing right of the pin, and missed on my birdie attempt.
Hole 6
Cristopher
New idea, after fitting holes,I should
feature a hole.
Hole 7, staring down a par 5, my legs pressed on the ball, urging for an extra 10-20 yards on my drive. With all my golf tips in the correct position. The ball flight reached peak position mid-drive, along with +_0 offset, landing center fairway. When I arrived, I clutched for my 4iron, tipped the galleria and launched it 200 plus yards. Outcome, a layout wedge, with a chance for eagle. Harry on the other hand, brought a trick from broadway, he switched his off-green ball, for a bright-fresh green ball. His outcome landed him 85 yards from the hole after his fourth shot. But for the first time Breaking 80 history, I had my first SHOT4SHOT premiere. Outcome was a 54 degree wedge landing 7 feet from the hole, giving me the first SHOT4SHOT victory.
Cristopher
I had trained last fall, three times a week
and this element of explosiveness, would
add more yardage to my shot.
Hole 8, I hit my second best drive of the day, left of the fairway, 260 total yardage, leaving me a symmetrical 8iron for my follow up shot.
I rearranged my clubs and zipped up my bag cover, it was time to gather interviews, or final thoughts.
Dave
I thought my 7iron was my strongest club, I went
dancing on hole 3, hole 8, and hole 9, You saw me !,
look that’s my ball right there.
HARRY
I hit all of them bad.
Golf bag loaded and off to the sushi buffet.
