SSOD STYLES made patterns through “Carnival on the Mile,” yesterday. It’s located in Coral Gables on Miracle Mile, just off Lejeune, one of the major streets in Miami-Dade. Carnival on the Mile is an early season music festival, featuring debut acts and hotshot seasonal acts, who’ve played for the live crowd a hand full of times. The hispanic heritage festival conducts two days of amped live music, to lead the month of March off. I was also fortunate enough to have spectators lend a quote for my photos at the 26 year festival. The festival brought forward displays of illuminating art, impacting hand crafted pieces, specialty foods, and pulsating music. In the end, Coral Gables manifested it’s legacy against Calle Ocho Music Festival, “otro ano” in Miami-Dade.
